I am thrilled to be a part of the AFDO by being a sponsor for this historic event.
Do you want to escape the crowds of Shadow Pines and Ellison? Head out to Pfrommer Woods and have the course to yourself. FYI - target E just got a little easier. A tree has given up the fight on E!!
I would like to congratulate Drew Hoteling on collecting his second ace at Pfrommer Woods. He has added his name to the wall of fame for target number 10. Well done!!!
It is not too late to join Juniors ROC the Woods.
Good Morning and Happy Friday!!! The tee pads for the 6 - 10 year olds have been marked with pink flags on all 18 targets. Come on out and practice!! Do not forget that all greens fees have been waived if you are playing in the tournament, even for mom and dad.
We are over half way to my goal of 20 participants for Juniors ROC the woods!! There is still plenty of time to practice and sign up. The short tee locations should be marked this week. I will let you know when they are in.
- Jennifer CThis is by far one of my favorite courses to play. I love that there are 27 holes to play, with turf tee pads, & a great variety of shots. It is so fun to play throughout the changes of the seasons, but fall is the best! Brad takes great pride in making sure people enjoy their experience, & works so hard to keep his course in good shape. I’m so glad we have this course in our area. Thanks Brad for all your hard work!
- Mike MMr Pfrommer (sorry can't remember first name) was near the front and hopped off the mower to welcome me and give me some info. Incredibly friendly and the course is great. A great variety of shots with some tight and technical holes and some more open. Great shade which helps on hot sunny days. It was windy but it wasn't so bad in his trees. Good signage and fun hole designs
- Lisa PThis was our first time visiting this disc golf course. It’s a private, pay to play course but it was very reasonable (5$/round payable by venmo or PayPal). My husband and I are extreme dabblers of this sport and barely know what we are doing haha. This course was challenging but not too hard that we didn’t have fun while playing. The course was easy to follow and even in our extreme amateur gameplay, we found it easy to stay on the fairways and it was fun to try to make it around trees and etc. We personally didn’t lose any discs but we didn’t take any risks either. We will definitely be back!!
